The top cap, upper bearing cover and lower race are CNC-machined from aluminum alloy while the cups are made from steel. This construction results in a high-quality headset at a lower cost. Each headset is fitted with smooth rolling, sealed, cartridge bearings and are designed for frames that accommodate external cup style headsets and forks that have straight, 1 1/8 inch steerer tubes.
