Based on the Odyssey Z - 915 sprocket from the 90's that promised "Unbending Performance", the new Odyssey C - 512 sprocket uses the same 5 spoke design as its predecessor but is made with tougher 6mm thick 7075 - T6 Aluminum. Odyssey's proprietary "Incisor" teeth are also used for smoother operation and are offset for a better chain line.
